About B.A.M! Basements and Masons

Welcome to B.A.M! Basements and Masons, Central Iowa’s premier basement repair and masonry company! B.A.M! is a local business founded in 2012 by Mark Williams. After working several years with different basement repair companies, Mark saw a need for better value and customer service in the industry, so he decided to open his own business. He chose the motto, “Every consideration given to total customer satisfaction with the highest quality workmanship,” the pillar of the B.A.M! name.

The business originally started with the name “All Basements and More.” Then, in 2013, it acquired Larry Heck and his masonry business, Heck, Inc.  With Larry, we have gained 50 years of experience in the stone, brick and block masonry industry.  The name B.A.M! has grown quite catchy around town, so to preserve its integrity, the company was thus renamed “Basements and Masons.”  A new chapter had begun.
Together, we at B.A.M! will cultivate our reputation for excellent service and quality work. With our motto in mind and a smile on our face, we look forward to helping the people of Central Iowa improve their homes.

Our Team

Mark Williams, Owner

Mark Williams, Owner Mark Williams is the owner of B.A.M!, and father of 3 beautiful daughters with 3 grandsons. Mark has worked in the waterproofing and foundation repair industry for over 10 years, and has over 27 years of experience in the construction industry overall. He has earned a reputation in Central Iowa of exceeding expectations, and possesses a well-rounded expertise that few in the industry can claim. Mark looks forward to getting down into the basement, finding a solution for the customer, and helping them to understand their problem.

To Mark, success doesn’t mean having a nice car and a big house while his employees rent apartments and drive clunkers, and his customers pay too much money for a low-quality solution. A successful company is one where everybody does well, all employees are happy, and B.A.M! customers are satisfied for the life of their home.

Mark strives for the 3 R’s RIGHTS, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY of his company and customers.

Jeremy Rogers , General Manager

Mark Williams, Owner Jeremy lives in his home in Des Moines with his wonderful wife and two great sons aged thirteen and seven. He is a journeyman mason and the fifth generation mason in his family. Jeremy started as a laborer in the summers when he was 13 years old and eventually worked his way up to journeyman and foreman. Most clients love Jeremy because he can explain things in a manner they can understand, putting customers at ease about the process. He will do whatever it takes to make the process as enjoyable as possible.

On the weekends, you can find Jeremy at home doing home improvements. When he’s not doing that, he likes to ride his Harley, go boating, spend time with his family and friends, and watch football.

At B.A.M!, Jeremy intends to “Keep customer service at a professional level. I want to be able to show how important it is that we support our small local businesses, and to help our communities gain a level of workmanship that exceeds the larger competition. I also want to show customers that honesty and integrity are not a thing of the past. A person’s word still means something to this company and we will stand behind ours.”
